Results of Election
The election of four chiropractor members of the new Chiropractic & Osteopathy Board was recently conducted by the State Electoral Office. To view the results of the election please click on the following link: 2006 Election Results.
Notification of this result has been provided to the Minister for Health by the State Electoral Office, and the results will also be published in The Advertiser (under Public Notices) on Saturday 24 June 2006.
New Board Policies
At its meeting held on 3 May 2006 the Board adopted two new policies as follows:
- Policy regarding English Language Proficiency; and
- Policy regarding Assistants in Chiropractic or Osteopathy Practice.

Human Services Finder Update
As you may be aware, the Department of Health created a service directory last year "the Human Services Finder" which is a free Internet-based directory available to the public. This directory allows providers and the public to quickly locate health and other community services in their area.
The Department are seeking to update the Finder and in particular would like to include information on chiropractic and osteopathy practices.
