On 10 April 2008 the Board delivered its decision in disciplinary proceedings regarding the conduct of registered chiropractor
Anthony Bertrand Shanahan.
Dr Shanahan pleaded guilty to unprofessional conduct concerning his treatment of a 22 year old female
patient.
The Board formally censured Dr Shanahan for his conduct, imposed conditions on his registration including that he must participate
in a mentoring program, and ordered that he pay the Registrar's costs.

Decision - Case 14
On 2 July 2008 the Board delivered its decision in disciplinary proceedings regarding the conduct of Robert Marin,
registered chiropractor.
Dr Marin was found guilty of unprofessional conduct concerning his treatment of ten different patients.
The Board formally censured Dr Marin for his conduct, suspended his registration for a period of four months, imposed conditions on
his registration including that he must participate in a mentoring program, and ordered that he pay the Registrar's costs.
Dr Marin has lodged an appeal against the decision of the Board with the District Court of South Australia on 31 July 2008.
